Gerald Carr, Head Coach
Gerald Carr has been around wrestling for more than 25 years. In 2011, after leaving the West Laurens High School program, Coach Carr decided to start the Storm Wrestling Center. Coach Carr has been dedicated to the sport of wrestling for most of his life. Coach Carr enjoys working with young people and helping them reach their full potential on and off the mat.
Since starting the Storm Wrestling Program, Coach Carr’s wrestlers have successfully competed across the county in AAU, NUWAY, Roller Wrestling and USA Wrestling events. Most recently, the Storm Wrestling Center won the overall 2016 Georgia State Kids Championship in Perry, GA. Members of this team also helped the Storm Center win the 2016 Georgia Elementary and Middle School State Dual Team Championship in Hall County, GA.

Bryce Carr, Assistant Coach
Bryce Carr is a 2017 graduate from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He majored in Psychology and was a Dean's List student. Bryce is currently a graduate assistant at Cumberland University pursuing his Master's degree in Education. He has assisted with coaching 2 All Americans during his time there. Bryce has been a regular leading coach alongside Coach Carr for over six years.
